I would like to introduce myself to you so that you get to know me a bit better. I was born and raised in Lochristi. The stork has put me in a florist’s cot where I also received the love for flowers and plants. But I got an even bigger love from my dear mother, she have me her passion of cooking. Honest? That cradle was certainly not a bad one, there was no question that a bad meal came on the table, on the contrary, woaw, I was spoiled. At a later age in my teenage years, I stealed with my eyes and secretly wrote a few tips in a little book. During my work as “account executive” I came again in contact with recipes and food , I was responsible for the promo ladies for Lipton tea, Food from Britain, Santa Maria etc …

Cooking also became a red thread in my life. Cooking became my passion. I was up to 4 times “Cordon Blue” “Kitchen Princess” for Knorr and enjoyed four years of cooking exprience. On my path I also came into contact with lots of cool people who I also have a close heart and who still follow me today. In addition, I also got to know people out of the Chefs world, Wim Ballieux the meatballs chef, Geert Van der Brugge “de Lijsterbes”, Buddy Valastro “cake boss” true TLC, Sofie Dumont and so many more …

When I travel, I like to eat well and often write down the recipes that cross on my path. I am also not ashamed to ask if I can take a look behind the scenes and ask them the recipe. The chefs and owners are not always ready to do this, but when I explain why, the doors open. And certainly if you speak to them in their own language. One time I ended up in “the big South” in America where I went to eat a restaurant of Afro-Americans, I had eaten a delicious chicken dish, I needed to know more about it. I received the recipe even with the historical explanation. This recipe has opened many doors for me. I hope one day my dream can come true and write my own cookingbook or even be a geust on a cookingshow ! Would be wonderful though. Paula Dean? I am your garl !

Also at KVLV Grembergen I got the chance to give an evening cooking class. A super experience and they have licked their fingers. I even think that some of my recipes have also been put on the table that Christmas.

Now I have sold a lot of bla bla but have not said who I am effective, I am currently 49 years a blessed age, living together with a fantastic man who encourages me to cook. I have been living in the Dendermonde for 3 years and am now working at Touring as supervisor for the first Front. I am active in a women’s movement as board member and organizer of trips and 2 annual themed evenings.
